We went to the u2 concert. The staff was so friendly, it was a pleasure to stay there. Nothing is any better than walk up to the front desk and the receptionist calling you by name. The Waiter and Waitress were great. We ate at the restaurant on Saturday night and when we went for breakfast on Sunday Morning the waiter wasn't our server but he can right over to check on us and to see how we made out at the concert. The staff made us feel so welcome and went beyond the call of duty to make our visit a memorable one.

The hotel is well located to explore Moncton. Parking's no problem. Staff was very friendly.
It's a bit worn out, loud ventilation system.

It was very clean, we were close to the pool (we walked out the door and the pool was just outside our room. Close to downtown Moncton and shopping mall.
I know the hotel is going through renovations right now and maybe sometime in the future the outside facade will be perked up. When I first saw the hotel my first reaction was that I was not going to stay there for the night, however I was pleasantly surprised that the interior has been renovated, it was clean and we were steps away from the pool.

The staff were very helpful and the room price was affordable for a one short night stay. Both the room and bathroom were spacious.
When we left the room at 6 am to check out we left our room keys in the room. The hall door leading to the reception area was closed. A notice on the door said we needed our room keys to get out the door. So we banged on the door to get someone's attention. The desk clerk came out - turns out the door was not locked after all. So that was confusing - we thought we were locked in. Also the flooring and furniture is so battered it looks dirty even though it might have been cleaned. Get some new cheap stuff.

The downtown location is downtown near business locations, government offices, restaurants and shopping.
The fabric bucket chair in the room was griny and stained. The upholstery should be cleaned or replaced. Using plastic/plexiglass on the desk top is not quality. It was scratched and left an impression of deterioration. Glass top replacement would be the better choice for easy to clean and qulity appearance.
